Hi! I’m Morgan, owner and baker of Bebe Cakes! My true love for baking started when I was 12. I was diagnosed with Celiac disease and put on a strict gluten free diet not having many yummy options when I was first diagnosed is what led me to baking my own gluten free desserts and it then became my passion! And let me tell you 10 years ago there wasn’t isles full of gluten free groceries or gluten free options at restaurants, so I’m thankful for how much the gluten free world has advanced!
When I was 20 I decided to go to a culinary baking and pastry school in Clovis and in 2014 I moved home and started Bebe Cakes. I was working out of my parents single oven kitchen, taking a few custom orders here and there. Then the magic of social media helped Bebe Cakes flourish! About a year later I was blessed with my own house and double oven (hallelujah!) which is where I currently run Bebe Cakes.
Bebe Cakes’ recipes may be a lot of trial and error, but they are also a lot of family recipes that have been passed down through generations. Luckily I don’t have to tweak many of these recipes because, well, my family can BAKE! Baking is very therapeutic for me and there is nothing more satisfying than when a customer absolutely loves what I have created for them! I'm so thankful for all of my customers.
A little bit about me… I’m always drinking a coffee or diet soda (pretty much anything with caffeine). I adore my cat (Gemma) and dog (Maverick). If I’m not baking I’m either helping my fiancé with his new spray business or visiting my nephew/nieces! I live right next to my sister and parents so when I’m not home you can usually find me there. When I am baking I'm either binging a Netflix show or blaring Alexa. I love getting to know all of my customers, so shoot me an email/text and lets talk CAKE!
